This web site is mainly dedicated to the genealogy of two French families : OCTAU and DANTAN. Those families, and their ascending families, are originating in Normandy (North West of France). This web site contains their history since the 6th century (about 582). Some of them took part in the first crusades to Palestine in the 11th century. You will find only French text in this web site.
